1. Digital delivery
Paid ADE access is normally activated after successful payment confirmation from the selected payment provider. Automated access may be available within a few minutes. If you have been successfully charged but the purchased access is not available, contact payments@thisisade.com and include the email used for purchase and any transaction reference available to you.
2. Refund request window for first purchases
For an initial subscription payment or other digital purchase made directly from ADE, you may submit a refund request within 7 calendar days of the transaction. Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee a refund; ADE will review the circumstances and any applicable consumer-law requirements.
3. Common grounds for an approved refund
A refund will generally be considered where there is a duplicate or incorrect charge, the purchased digital access was not delivered because of an ADE or payment-processing problem that could not reasonably be resolved, a significant technical fault prevented reasonable use of the purchased service, the transaction was unauthorized and verified through an appropriate investigation, or applicable law requires a refund.
4. Digital-content limitations
Because ADE provides immediately accessible digital services, a discretionary refund may be declined where substantial paid content or benefits have already been consumed. Examples may include completing a substantial portion of a course, submitting graded assessments, receiving a final credential based on the purchased learning, substantially using paid digital tools or downloading materials intended for continued offline use.
This limitation does not remove any mandatory refund or consumer right that applies under law.
5. Subscription cancellation
You may cancel a recurring subscription before its next renewal through the billing controls made available to your account or by contacting ADE where those controls are unavailable. Cancellation normally stops future renewal and allows access through the end of the already-paid billing period.
6. Renewal charges
If a recurring subscription renews and you intended to cancel it, contact ADE within 3 calendar days of the renewal. Where there has been no meaningful use of the renewed paid benefits after the renewal and no other restriction applies, ADE may approve a refund of that renewal. Requests outside this period will be assessed under applicable law and the circumstances of the transaction.
7. How to request a refund
Email payments@thisisade.com with the account email, transaction or payment reference if available, the item or plan purchased, purchase date and a short explanation of the issue. Do not email full card numbers, CVV codes, banking passwords or other sensitive payment credentials.
8. Review and processing time
ADE aims to review a complete refund request within 5 business days. If approved, we aim to submit the refund to the original payment method within 7 business days after approval. The payment processor, card network or issuing bank may require additional time, commonly several business days, before the refunded amount appears in your account.
9. Refund method
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method used for the transaction. We may request reasonable information needed to locate and verify the transaction, but we will not ask you to send full payment-card credentials by email.
10. Chargebacks, fraud and abuse
If you do not recognize a transaction, contact ADE promptly so we can investigate. Fraudulent refund claims, deliberate abuse of digital access, repeated chargeback misuse or attempts to retain paid benefits after a refund may result in account restriction where permitted by law.
11. Affiliate commissions after refunds
If a referred transaction is refunded, reversed or charged back, the related affiliate commission may be reduced or reversed. If a commission has already been paid, ADE may record the amount as a clawback obligation subject to the applicable affiliate terms and law.
12. Payment-provider terms and consumer rights
Payments may be processed by third-party providers, including PayHere when offered at checkout. Provider processing rules may apply alongside this policy. Nothing in this Refund Policy limits a mandatory statutory refund right, cooling-off right or other consumer protection that cannot lawfully be waived.
